1) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
Pretty dark and it progresses fast but there were also a lot of nice scenes in it. Liked it even though I’d wished for more Snape and Malfoy :p

2) Natural Born Killers (1994)
Using several effects and methods to deliver the story is really great here.

3) Peter’s Friends (1992)
Great movie, heart-warming and with a great Cast! Love it ♥

4) De-Lovely (2004)
quite a nice and interesting movie.

5) The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934)
I’m never gonna be a Alfred Hitchcock fan. This movie was almost more boring then The Birds.

6) Miyuki-Chan In Mirrorland (1995) [short]
I didn’t get this movie at all.

7) Dare (2005) [short]
Nice but sadly too short.

8) Door-to-Door Maniac (1961)
young Johnny Cash. OMG! love the two criminals, so great figures/actors. movie was okay. nothing special.

9) Mulholland Drive (2001)
why can’t there be an explanation for this? Great movie though, I just didn’t get all of it.

10) The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Boring! And Jodi Foster really gets on my nerves with her psycho lady.

11) The Great Train Robbery (1903) [short]
Wow. Great one! I also liked it better then Le Voyage dans la Lune from the year before.

12) ‘Salem’s Lot (2004)
Seen worse King Adaptation but I still prefer the book because the story was interesting there. The movie only wanted to scare.

13) Triumph des Willens (1935) (Triumph of the Will)
it’s hard to say something about it because of the nature of the content but it is indeed an important movie. The techniques are impressive and I even enjoyed parts of it (not the marching or the speeches but Nuremberg or aerial pictures).

14) Dog Factory (1904) [short]
Such a machine could be really useful :p

15) Zwartboek (2006) (Black Book)
Wow! Great movie! I wanted to scream “that’s how a film is done!” all the time. Especially liked that they kept the original languages so you have Dutch, English and German and often switch the characters really easily between them. Also liked the 2-sites-of-a-story aspect. In the end there isn’t anyone innocent. War makes us to victims and contravener.

16) Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain (2001) (Amélie)
nice movie with a lot of beautiful scenes but all in all a bit boring.

17) Princess Nicotine (1909) [short]
funny *g* and great special effects^^

18) Soylent Green (1973)
Interesting things are shown but that’s it. The story isn’t really a interesting and I wasn’t impressed by the actors performance.

19) Matango (1963)
eat a mushroom and you turn into one *lol* I had to see this! it’s actually not worse then most horror movies.

20) Hannibal (2001)
Even worse then Silence of the Lambs because more boring. *yawn* it’s probably just made so that people say/think “gross”

21) My Kingdom for a Horse (1991)
Yay for Sean Bean Geekness. The imdb comment is pretty accurate and it’s really a great job he does there. The movie itself is nice but nothing impressive.

22) Fushigi no kuni no Miyuki-chan (1995) (Miyuki-Chan In Wonderland) [short]
Better then Miyuki-Chan in Mirrowland because at least it made sense kind of anyway. Still strange one.

23) Noise (2007)
well done movie! and the actors where also good. It’s not my kind of movie though.

24) Se7en (1995)
Good movie even though the 7 deadly sin topic gets old for me. They leave out too much. But I liked the “accepting” part and it’s well done.

25) Un long dimanche de fiançailles (2004) (A Very Long Engagement)
Nice and moving movie. Good work with the flashbacks.

26) Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
not bad but it’s a way too long movie!

27) La Passion de Jeanne d’Arc (1928) (The Passion of Joan of Arc)
I must admit I never thought about Jeanne d’Arc as “daughter of god” or that her ordeal was a passion. But at least the last hours do have some similarities to Christ’s. Performance was brilliant!

28) The Exorcist (1973)
Better then I thought it would be. The possessing scenes were pretty impressive but since the movie has no other story 2 hours is a bit long for the movie.

29) Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (2001) (Spirited Away)
Wow! I so loved this movie. Especially all those creatures. All those cute the friends Sen makes :) I think I gonna buy this one.

30) The Hobbit (1977)
Much better then the animated version of The Lord of the Rings. Quite true the story but of course a lot of changes so it fits into ~80min. Not bad even though a lot is just.. weird. Like why does have Elrond a beard or why does Gollum look like a frog and the why are the Wood Elves as ugly as Gollum or the goblins? I also thought the film was too short. 2 hours would have been better plus don’t chance something when you don’t have to.

31) An American in Paris (1951)
the dancing scene at the end is way too long! apart from that quite nice. But not my taste.

32) A Room with a View (1985)
Really nice movie even though you know where it’s heading and how it’s gonna end pretty soon. It’s good entertainment.

33) The Golden Compass (2007)
Good movie, I really enjoyed it.. but where was the end? It feels like there’s missing a part 2.

34) War Requiem (1989)
Very good movie! Just it’s hard to maintain concentration over this for 1 1/2 hours. When I see such things I don’t actually want to concentrate on them. Just too horrible. Especially “liked” the “living dead” that was what mostly touched me.

35) Collateral (2004)
entertaining but nothing special

36) 1408 (2007)
I should have red the book/short story instead of watching this movie. It’s okay but I believe the story rocks much more.

37) Fahrenheit 451 (1966)
Nice! I am a book.
But I thought the change of heart in the character was better shown Equilibrium.

38) Taxi Driver (1976)
I didn’t like this one much. it’s kinda boring and the story is also so not entertaining.

39) Frankenstein (1931)
a classic. but why the heck do they have to kill Frankenstein’s creation? I feel so sad for him :(

40) Superman: Doomsday (2007)
was a nice movie, very super hero like :p

41) Futurama: Bender’s Big Score (2007)
Futurama simply rocks :)

42) Birth Of A Nation (1915)
3 hour long silent movie. Never again. Besides this is totally racist! And even though it is significant for movie history (which you really see) I can’t enjoy one bit.

43) The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)
A really nice movie :)

44) Ratatouille (2007)
aww cute. But the story wasn’t *that* new – only played with rats :p

45) L.A. Confidential (1997)
well done movie but still I didn’t enjoy it much. I’m not much into such stories.

46) Night of the Living Dead (1968)
For a horror movie not bad at all. But I’m still no horror fan ;)

47) Engel & Joe (2001)
I kinda don’t wanne say “nice” movie due to it’s story but I liked it, even though I’m not as optimistic as the ending indicates

48) Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (1922)
watched the 79min re-named version (meaning: they used the names from the book. Orlok = Dracula etc.) A good classic movie :)

49) Full Metal Jacket (1987)
Didn’t really like the second half. Maybe I’ve seen too many of those films that it isn’t “interesting” anymore.

50) The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976)
Didn’t like this movie, neither the pictures nor the actors.

51) The Phantom of the Opera (1925)
Watched the 1929 version. I thought the Phantom was portrayed too “evil” here. Therefore I didn’t like it that much.

52) Goodfellas (1990)
Good movies, I really really enjoyed it. Who needs The Godfather when you can have this?

53) Festen (1998)
Very good movie! I love the story and it’s refreshing to see a Dogma 95 once in a while^^

54) The Ten Commandments (1956)
Really good movie. Enjoyed it much, especially the first half.

55) Zugvögel – … einmal nach Inari (1998) (Train Birds)
Very sweet film :)

56) Ring of the Nibelungs (2004)
uhm.. no. bad. stupid changes, story told in a typical way that I was bored the whole time.

57) The Stranger (1946)
Good movie. Liked it even though some scenes or story parts were too long and in the end everything happens so fast.

58) Psycho (1960)
Never thought I’d like it. But I really do! I like movies with twists and where you get surprised. Really well done :)

59) Top Hat (1935)
Nice movie, something to relax :)

60) Rope (1948)
*hehe* I like such things where you have a party around a hidden corpse :p Just the ending was kinda dull :-/

61) Scarface (1983)
boring, probably because I have seen such movies too often in my life.

62) How Men Propose (1913) [short]
hillarious! that woman rocks^^

63) La Souriante Madame Beudet (1923) (The Smiling Madame Beudet) [short]
liked it, but the end dissatisfied me a bit.

64) L’Invitation au voyage (1927) (Invitation to a Journey) [short]
sad :( very sad (and yellow :p)

65) Freaks (1932)
mh, I didn’t like it that much. I didn’t like how the people were presented.

66) Die Blechtrommel (1979) (The Tin Drum)
I didn’t really get the story, I mean the end doesn’t really seem like an end and it feels like there are parts missing. But it wasn’t that bad, weird a bit and it had the most disgusting scene in it I’ve ever seen (the mother eating raw fish)

67) Was nützt die Liebe in Gedanken (2004) (Love in Thoughts)
beautiful movie. Liked it very much, even though it’s actually horrible and based on true events.. all are losers in this :-/

68) Die Welle (2008) (The Wave)
Good transformation! Liked it.

69) Vertigo (1958)
Boring. the twist was interesting but somehow the movie seemed empty except for some moments.

70) 8½ (1963)
different, I liked it. even though it was sometimes a bit too fast but that’s probably because i had to pay attention to picture and subs at teh same time :P

71) Sherlock Jr. (1924) [short]
funny and very well done! loved the in/on screen sequenz^^

72) Bronenosets Potyomkin (1925) (Battleship Potemkin)
Didn’t like it that much, too much of a propaganda film

73) The Pianist (2002)
Great movie, I liked it very much. It’s intense with great acting and unforeseen twists :)

74) Pinocchio (1940)
Typical Disney movie and such a fairy tale. I don’t like the story at all.

75) Neco z Alenky (1988) (Alice)
Yuck! I hate this movie, those stuffed animals and skeletons and ridiculous “story”.. yikes.

76) The Loser (1990) [short]
cute little story and yummy Sean Bean^^

77) Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005)
*hihi* this was sooo much fun! the animations are really great, fighting scenes are awesome and the characters just love! ♥

78) Y tu mamá también (2001) (And Your Mother Too)
Good movie, “light” and still with depth. Really liked it :)

79) Fargo (1996)
not a bad movie.

80) Little Caesar (1931)
Either I’ve seen too many gangster movies by now or this is an extremely boring one. I was so NOT interested in the characters nor the plot.

81) If…. (1968)
A different English school movie. Liked it, even though that b/w was sometimes a bit confusing.

82) Jacob (1994)
very hairy Sean Bean :P I liked that movie adaptation, more subtle then a lot of others that try to be extra great because it’s dealing with god. But here it feels like a story that could have really happened (even though that tree was a bit over the top imho). Loved the scene between Rahel and Lea after the wedding ♥

83) Gone with the Wind (1939)
It’s better then I thought. I actually liked it :p just a bit too long sometimes and she whines too much *g*

84) Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939)
*lol* filibuster is sure a funny think :p the movie wasn’t bad but a bit too much of American patriotism. no wonder it was successful :p

85) Clerks (1994)
great conversations! loved it especially the one about the death star^^ I like this one even though the story wasn’t that interesting just the details were great

86) Das Flüstern des Mondes (2006) (Whispering Moon)
I really like this movie, refreshing different. And Patrick&Jannis are just so cute together and I so hoped for a happy end.

87) The Gold Rush (1925)
It was a nice movie but the second half was just a “typical” Charly Chaplin therefore I liked the first half better because it had a more serious (under)tone

88) Mio min Mio (1987) (Mio in the Land of Faraway)
A nice movie, but since I read and loved the book as a child I have my own images and feelings towards the story. What I felt while reading the book I couldn’t find here, that’s why I don’t like it that much as it actually deserves.

89) Echte Kerle (1996) (Regular Guys)
really nice movie except for the ending. I’d preferred another pairing ;)

90) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
I liked the movie, even though it didn’t really had that “Indy” feeling. It’s better then the second though. Also loved that details reminding me of the other movies: snakes (obviously) or the beginning with the sand (paramount) hill, insects crawling into clothe, skeletons hold in one’s arms, hiding in a river, ‘Junior’, the Ark, … but I didn’t like the beginning nor the end and Russians are no Nazis. And trans-dimensional beings wtf?

91) Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
This is even more sad then the first movie *cry* they are so mean :(

92) His Girl Friday (1940)
A nice movie but I didn’t like the end. Poor Bruce :-/

93) The Awful Truth (1937)
a funny movie, liked it a lot. Even though you know how it ends.

94) Hotaru no haka (1988) (Grave of the Fireflies)
Sad and interesting, I like it very much :)

95) Broken Blossoms or The Yellow Man and the Girl (1919)
it’s one of the better silent movies I’ve seen. Still that tragic story couldn’t entertain me that much.

96) Kung Fu Panda (2008)
Sweet movie but not as funny as I would have thought.

97) Itsuka no kimi e (2007)
I loved it! Sense of reality, the settle build up and the surprising turn around with the rather sweet ending. I just would love to know what happens with his studies now.

98) Tenten (2007) (Adrift in Tokyo)
Very sweet movie and even though you know how it ends it’s still sad. Loved the three co-workers from Mrs. F they’re much fun *g* And of course that fake-family^^

99) Tampopo (1985)
Nice and sometimes very amusing movie, I also learned something about Ramen ;)

100) Eraserhead (1977)
I simply don’t like David Lynch films. Too weird ;P

101) Swing Time (1936)
A nice “light” movie but I think the plot was a bit too obvious. I prefer Top Hat over this.

102) Amores perros (2000) (Love’s a Bitch)
I like movies in that style. This one was also very interesting and I’m glad that you also so some bits of the others stories when following another.

103) To Have and Have Not (1944)
It isn’t as boring as Casablanca but still it couldn’t really grab my interest.

104) Shadow of a Doubt (1943)
Not a bad movie, though it could have been shorter because you wait for things moving along because the part where you build up the tension is much longer as it would have to be, the tension is already build up but you get scenes with more and more “tension potential”. (does make any sense?)

105) Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs (2008)
Futurama rocks in itself but this movie wasn’t as good as some episodes. Bender is at best,, when he’s evil but here he actually missed the humans. It was too much. But I love Yivo ^^

106) Die Büchse der Pandora (1929) (Pandora’s Box)
I liked it with some unforeseen some twists in it. Just the ending was a bit odd.

107) Brief Encounter (1945)
I like this movie a lot, good story telling, very emotional and never boring. I like the last scene with the husband :)

108) In a Lonely Place (1950)
It’s an okay movie, I think it was obvious how it would turn out, well not exactly but close enough. And it’s one of those movies where I think afterwards “okay that was that”. I could have spend the time better.

109) Gilda (1946)
Not bad but a bit “exhausting” in the end. And the end was a bit too suddenly.

110) The Red Shoes (1948)
The story isn’t new and also not told in a original way. Since I’m not into ballet that much the big dancing scene is rather boring then exciting.

111) Uchôten Hoteru (2006) Suite Dreams
I absolutely love this movie! One big hotel and so many stories all somehow connected even if it’s just a little. I love all the characters and it was not one bit boring.

112) Moon Child (2003)
*cry* this such a sad movie! on a personal level and from social and societal point of view. *snob* it’s just too sad, but it has a good ending.. well maybe depending on how you see it. I like it. too bad there is no DVD

113) Blowup (1966)
Boring. There was no tension and I’m not fan of surrealism or what that was suppose to be

114) Blazing Saddles (1974)
Very Mel Brooks. entertaining but there are much better (and funnier) Mel Brooks movies.

115) Roman Holiday (1953)
not bad but nothing special.

116) Young Frankenstein (1974)
Liked it and Igor is the best *g* Liked it better then Blazing Saddles.

117) Tom & Thomas (2002)
Sean Bean is so adorable here. I just love him. The story is quite nice with a scary site. I like that movie.

118) It Happened One Night (1934)
very predictable and therefore boring.

119) The 39 Steps (1935)
boring and unsatisfying

120) Rebecca (1940)
I enjoyed it very much because I thought it would be a really boring movie but it was actually very interesting and had lots of twists in it up until the end.

121) Mononoke-hime (1997) (Princess Mononoke)
I really like that movie and this time I got that nature/human conflict *lol* I like Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi even better though.

122) The Philadelphia Story (1940)
Nice movie, though I like the musical remake High Society a bit better.

123) The Lady Eve (1941)
Silly movie but somewhat entertaining even though he was a poor fool and she’s pretty mean.

124) The Maltese Falcon (1941)
so not interesting, I couldn’t care less about that falcon.

125) The Thief of Bagdad (1924)
Not bad at all, just a bit too long. 2 hours would have been enough.

126) Spellbound (1945)
stupid movie. I didn’t like the characters nor the theories they base their action upon

127) Funny Games (1997)
Simply great! nothing in there that makes it understandable and nothing that gives you a good feeling at the end. The interaction (between the characters and with the audience), paradox criticism, the in themselves paradox kidnapper and an ending that could be the beginning. It’s a really good movie.

128) Notorious (1946)
Too few real plot for my taste.

129) Jesus Christ Superstar (1973)
actually quite good, loved the Jesus in the desert scene

130) Adam’s Rib (1949)
not bad at all. I rather liked it.

131) Socket (2007)
a non-existent ending wtf? the movie was strange but not bad but without an ending it doesn’t make any sense.

132) Rajio no jikan (1997)
I felt like the truck driver, man that was great and funny! *g*

133) On the Town (1949)
a musical romance, not really much more and hardly needs full attention

134) All About Eve (1950)
interesting for a part of it but when you know about Eve you kinda know how it’s ending. love the closed circle at the end though

135) A Place in the Sun (1951)
the second half is actually where it gets interesting, still that film couldn’t entertain me much.

136) Woodstock (1970)
very interesting!

137) Mildred Pierce (1945)
I was surprised how much I liked Joan Crawford in it. She was really good as was the movie.

138) A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)
Not bad but not overwhelming good. Liked it but it has a few passages where I felt bored.

139) Boys Love (2006) (Gay Love)
*meh* I didn’t like the ending. But the movie was good and sexy^^

140) Strangers on a Train (1951)
that guy is really scary O.o Wasn’t that bad but I’m rather indifferent to that movie.

141) The African Queen (1951)
quite nice

142) From Here to Eternity (1953)
Not bad at all even though the ending was a bit “oookay… and now?”

143) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)
Okay movie but nothing special.

144) A Star Is Born (1954)
very good movie if it wasn’t for all that singing and dancing.

145) Apocalypto (2006)
stupid, boring and doesn’t make any sense.

146) Yi yi (2000) (Yi yi: A One and a Two…)
very good movie. Loved the conversations, pictures and characters. And the ending was great.

147 ) Shichinin no samurai (1954) (The Seven Samurai)
great movie, I especially liked the little stories about the villagers.

148) A Woman Under the Influence (1974)
well done movie but I still didn’t like it because it’s not “my” kind of movie.

149) The Godfather: Part II (1974)
couldn’t catch my interest at all.

150) The Dark Knight (2008)
For that, that I don’t like superheroes this movie was okay. But I prefer Batman Begins.

151) The Illusionist (2006)
nice movie, even thought a lot was predictable (for me)

152) Over the Hedge (2006)
Nice little movie but very predictable and you’ve seen things like that a hundred times

153) Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
boring, predictable and just a waste of time.

154) Auf der anderen Seite (2007) (The Edge of Heaven)
Good movie and very well done. Love this way of crossings between people, emotions and countries.

155) Meshes of the Afternoon (1943) [Short]
I don’t like this kind of movie. No I really don’t but it’s still well done, it just doesn’t mean I have to like it.

156) The Producers (1968)
Funny movie but I like the re-make musical version better

157) Die Fälscher (2007) (The Counterfeiters)
Good and interesting movie. I liked it a lot that it had so believable characters and you could get a bit of the picture those people were in. Karl Markovics is great and I think Devid Striesow is born to play the ass hole (Herzog reminded me a lot of Keitel :p)

158) Ashita no kioku (2006) (Memories of Tomorrow)
*sniff* so emotionally and really sad. I loved the performance of Ken Watanabe and Kanako Higuchi and they act so good together. I highly recommend this movie. Maybe as double feature with Recovery (with David Tennant&Sarah Parish)

159) Anger Management (2003)
a movie to relax and no thinking. But it’s pretty obvious how it’s going to end so it gets boring the last half hour or so.

160) West Side Story (1961)
I’m not a fan of that Romeo&Julia story so it’s not a surprise that I can’t rate this movie high. it wasn’t uninteresting though.

161) The Ice Storm (1997)
Good movie

162) Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
Great, hilarious, absolutely awesome! I love it, so funny and true.

163) Sukitomo (2006)
The movie is exactly about that what the title says: loving Tomokazu. A sweet movie, that shows how difficult feelings can be and how beautiful.

164) Tennis no oujisama (2006) (The Prince of Tennis)
you can watch it and Yuu Shirota is quiet nice but it’s nothing special. you don’t miss anything if you don’t watch it. It did have some nice effects though

165) Lan yu (2001)
Can I cry? this is so sad and beautiful. I would have liked it though when they would have explained a bit more what was going on outside of their relationship like in the book. But it’s nevertheless a good movie.

166) Ai no kotodama (2008)
Can I just say this is so far the best Japanese movie with homosexual content. I do like itsuka no kimi e and boys love but this one is more about the relationship and it’s hardship at times. Good acting and you really feel that they love each other and it’s not about (showing) sex but their deep feelings a they have for years now.

167) The Apartment (1960)
Predictable but it’s okay to watch.

168) Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986)
not bad. entertainment for a short while.

169) All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)
Wow. A really good movie. pretty intense.

170) 42nd Street (1933)
Not that interesting.

171) Keinohrhasen (2007)
If you like When Harry Met Sally you’ll like this movie, but since I didn’t like that movie that much I’m not that impressed by Keinohrhasen.

172) Mein Führer – Die wirklich wahrste Wahrheit über Adolf Hitler (2007) (Mein Führer: The Truly Truest Truth About Adolf Hitler)
Could have been better and I actually thought it would be more funny. But I loved how the absurdity of some things were shown like the bureaucracy (which reminded me of Asterix and the form A38)

173) Astérix et les Vikings (2006) (Asterix and the Vikings)
I didn’t liek it that much, maybe because I simply love the old one: the gaul, in Britain, Versus Caesar, etc. but it wasn’t like that. It’s “too mordern”

174) Suwîto rein Shinigami no seido (2008) (Sweet Rain)
Sweet. And did I mention I love Shinigami? So it’s really a movie for me *g* I especially loved how subtle the end was. No need for big scenes or explanations.

175) Wall-E (2008)
Sweet movie.

176) Footlight Parade (1933)
not bad but predictable.

177) The Wolf Man (1941)
I liked it only the ending was a bit too quick.

178) Dracula (1931)
Even though I knew the story it was really interesting and I liked all the characters. Renfield, Van Hellsing, Count Dracula, Mina and even her fiancé. Renfield is just great displayed as lunatic (not in the way the people think he is) and frightened man. He actually is the victim of Dracula. Van Hellsing – the guy who sees and believes. It’s not about Dracula as evil monster but that this is a situation which solution is that the vampire has to be killed. He’s a professional and scientific man. I like that :) Count Dracula is an interesting, sad, intelligent and talented man. Not a bad men just someone who came to terms with who he is and he lives according to that. Mina the frighten girl who just knows too well what is going on and has to deal with it. She accepts her condition and tries to protect the people around her.

179) The Thin Man (1934)
I simply don’t like crime movies, even though the characters here were actually not that bad. you can see why it’s an important film. Still it’s not one I like.

180) Rashômon (1950)
Do YOU know what really happened? A very interesting movie.

181) Gold Diggers of 1933 (1933)
I simply don’t like those musical love story movies from that time. Though the topic of the depression was good.

182) What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
scary how nuts they are.

183) Futurama: Bender’s Game (2008)
I like it more then the otehr two movies. This one had the right Futurama feeling. I loved it :)

184) Orphée (1950) (Orpheus)
Normally i don’t like French movies and wouldn’t say that I loved this one but it wasn’t that bad (so it was probably a very good movie). I can’t believe I actually enjoyed it. Even though Orphée is not a nice man: his poor wife.

185) Grand Hotel (1932)
I like this one but i liked the “Japanese version” Uchoten Hoteru better.

186) Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
Not bad but I liked the first one better.

187) Pride (2004)
I didn’t really like it. animals made human.. not my thing

188) Different (2004) [short]
interesting world

189) Die Ehe der Maria Braun (1979) (The Marriage of Maria Braun)
I really liked this one. You get the feeling of the situation of the German people at that time.

190) The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008)
Nice, I actually liked it better then the first one. maybe because they had mice!

191) Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004)
Interesting

192) Die Bitteren Tränen der Petra von Kant (1972) (The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant)
this movie is really depressing but a good movie

193) Bangkok Love Story (2007)
I wanted a happy end, and what do I get? Well a good movie and an awesome soundtrack, still.. why did I just know it had to end like this?

194) Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five (2008) [short]
nothing you have to see

195) Scorpio Rising (1964) [short]
impressive

196) Clara (2008)
Simply not my type of movie.

197) Gigi (1958)
it’s okay even though you know from the beginning how the story goes.

198) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)
So.. did they stop it? And that question is the only interesting thing about the movie.

199) Smultronstället (1957) (Wild Strawberries)
very nice movie

200) Intolerance: Love’s Struggle Throughout the Ages (1916)
woah that’s an epic movie. Quite impressive but a bit much. 178 minutes silent movie is not easy to watch.

201) Freunde (2001) (The Whiz Kids) [short]
I didn’t get it.

202) Sedmikrásky (1966) (Daisies)
silly, interesting, funny and what the heck was it?

203) Cat People (1942)
Not bad but I prefer friendly cats ;)

204) Love/Juice (2000)
Good (and bold) movie. I just hope the end isn’t what I think it is.

205 ) Pi (1998)
boring

206) Gohatto (1999) (Taboo)
good movie and surprisingly funny at times.

207) La Planète sauvage (1973) (The Fantastic Planet)
humans as pets, how great!

208) Steamboat Bill, Jr. (1928)
Not my kind of humour.

209) Camille (1936)
a bit long in the middle part, but not a bad movie over all. Just very predictable

210) Einstein and Eddington (2008)
Very cool movies, though it’s very confusing how not German/Swiss Einstein seems to be (looks and accent).

211) Warai no daigaku (2004) (University of Laughs)
Just brilliant and so funny!

212) Taan (2001) (Turn)
I liked it. A nice story with a few surprised but not a film I have to see twice.

213) A Night at the Opera (1935)
my first Marx Brothers film and I loved the dialogues. The music and “action” scenes not so much.
